Really great photo. My eye just goes right up there. It almost has a 3D effect.
San Fransisco. Golden Gate Bridge. Great shot.
I love that I am a book lover, a word lover, a day dreamer, a thinker, a doer.

I grew up with a typewriter in the house, an old manual much like this one. It went the way of many things remembered—my mother purged it from her sight one day, and from mine as well. Later on, during my high school years, she found and purchased an IBM Selectric. Powered by electricity, and just as fast, I used more than once to type papers on, even when there was a computer in the house. It too, has gone, being given to someone, or sold. When my dear friend Chelsea got married, there was a beautiful vintage typewriter at the reception, brought all the way from NYC, where she lives with her honey. Guests typed out messages of love and congratulations for the newlyweds and tucked them into a container for safe-keeping. Happily plunking out an impromptu poem to my friends, I was transported back to toddlerhood, when I would search for the next letter and gleefully press the key.
I am now determined to find a lovely old working typewriter.
